Information: fast, timely information regarding issues, meetings and late breaking news about matters affecting substance abuse service provision.

Legislative Alerts: information on pending legislation requesting grassroots advocacy action.

Advocacy: ASAP communication with decision makers on issues affecting our field at the federal, state and regulatory levels. ASAP works with a variety of Texas health and human service coalitions and is an active member of the national State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS).

Education & Group Benefits: ASAP offers programs on a variety of topics relating to operating substance abuse services in Texas. ASAP members also receive a subscription to the magazine “Addiction Professional” and have access to insurance broker services and group discounts for dental insurance.

Networking & Support: opportunities to visit and share experiences, resources and information with the true experts—–your colleagues!

Consultants: ASAP utilizes experts in various fields— legal, grants management, financial- to provide opinion and direction on areas affecting public policy and service delivery.

Dues Payment Info

Membership Dues are based on an organization’s total (from all sources) annual substance abuse service budget.

​

Membership begins at the time of first payment and is renewable after 12 months.

​

Payment options are available: Annual, Semi-Annual, Quarterly, and Monthly.

​

To calculate your payment, divide the annual dues amount by the appropriate number of payments and round the figure to the lowest whole dollar amount.
