Why Join The Association of Substance Abuse Programs?

We are a nonprofit membership organization dedicated to advancing the field of substance abuse treatment and prevention across Texas. We believe that strong connections and shared learning empower organizations to better serve their communities—and our members agree. While each member joins for different reasons, they all share a passion for improving lives and building healthier communities. ASAP communication with decision makers on issues affecting our field at the federal, state and regulatory levels. ASAP works with a variety of Texas health and human service coalitions and is an active member of the national State Associations of Addiction Services (SAAS).
