About the Texas Impaired Driving Task Force
The Texas Impaired Driving Task Force (TxIDTF) is a statewide coalition of professionals representing law enforcement, prevention, treatment, public health, research, education, traffic safety, and other sectors. The Task Force provides guidance to the Texas Department of Transportation and develops collaborative strategies to reduce injuries and deaths caused by impaired driving. Its recommendations concerning intoxicating hemp products identify policy opportunities to address THC-related roadway safety risks in Texas.
